Refunds & Credits

If Rockwell Utilities overcharges in error:

• the refund/credit will be returned to the customer in full for the entire period of overcharge.

if the customer unintentionally overpays:

• the additional credit will be applied the next billing statement→ itemized on the bill to display credit balance.

Interest will be applied to overpaid amounts just as is protocol with customer deposits.

• interest begins to compound 30 days after RWU receives the overpayment amount and continues up until the date and time the customer receives their refund/credit.

*Not applicable if overpayment comes from Federal or State assistance agencies.
